Wake in the Woods was a success!

Up past tremonton at Bear Hollow Lakes turned out to be the perfect venue for one of the last wakeboard competitions of the year. Utah Watersports provided the boat a Centurion 240 ENZO put out a great wake for the riders, Sam Cole took first place in the outlaw division with amazing riding.

Wake in the Woods is back, yet again, to defend its title as the best grass roots wakeboard tournament in the Intermountain area, pulled by MASTERCRAFT & Utah Watersports! Make sure you mark your calendars because on August 21st we’re headed to Bear Hollow Lakes, in between Tremonton and Logan, for a day of wakeboarding you’re not going to forget.

June Memorial Day at Deer Creek Reservoir

Come join Utah Water Sports at the Deer Creek Island Resort on June 18 from 9am to 3pm for a demo day! We’ll have a MasterCraft X-45, MasterCraft X-Star, MasterCraft X-25, and a Centurion Enzo 240 Surf Edition.

There will be free burgers for everyone, and free parking and admittance to the park! Come enjoy some time on the water with other local MasterCraft and Centurion owners and enthusiasts.

Sirlin Enterprises Produces Amazing MasterCraft Boat Wraps

Sirlin Enterprises, a Seattle-based company, has collaborated with MasterCraft boats to provide some amazing wraps for MasterCraft boats. In one recent project, Sirlin took tattoo art and created a wrap:

The temperatures are heating up and summer is just around the corner. Before you know it you’ll be spending long weekends out on the water. We’d love to be out on the water 24/7, but while the cold weather has us holed up indoors, we spend plenty of time online, connecting with other boarders, checking out the latest pictures and videos, and staying current on the wakeboard news of the day.

These internet is full of sites packed with wakeboarding awesomeness. To wet your whistle, check out some of our favorite online wakeboarding haunts:

The WWA

The World Wakeboarding Association

According to the World Wakeboarding Association Website, “The WWA is a non-profit organization created by wakeboarders for the advancement and progression of wakeboarding. We do this by sanctioning and supporting wakeboard events on a global level.”

Membership in the WWA allows riders to compete in WWA events around the world. The WWA also sponsors and runs clinics, and fuels the grass roots wakeboarding organization.

Wakeboarder.com is another community site that features an impressive collection of training videos and articles. This site is a great place to learn and connect with other wakeboarders, and to follow the big names in the sport.

The Wakeboarder.com shop also features an extensive inventory of everything you need to enjoy wakeboarding.

AllianceWake.com

One of the best sites out there, AllianceWake.com is one of the best wakeboarding resource and information sites out there. Focusing on the latest news and happenings around the world of wake, AllianceWake.com’s plentiful library of pictures, articles, and videos is sure to keep you busy for hours.

WakeWorld.com

No list would be complete without powerhouse WakeWorld.com. Recently redesigned, this site features an amazing forum, a solid ‘Wake 101′ section for newbies, articles, pictures, video, gear – the list goes on and on. This site truly is the ‘one-stop shop’ when it comes to wake sports pictures, information, and updates. You can even post an ad on the site if you’ve got some gear you’d like to unload. If you’ve got a question, make sure to check wakeworld.com for the answer.

Wake-boarding.org

Last but certainly not least in our list is wake-boarding.org. This site offers a wide variety of resources for anyone who wants to learn the latest tricks, or still needs help getting up and running. The site is extremely friendly and open, and accessible to riders of all skill levels. You can check out posts on “Getting Up,” “Rope Handling,” and then move on to the tricks, like 360s and inverts, all at wake-boarding.org.
